TBT Florida
Terms of Use
Last updated August 6, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the TBT Florida website, Player Portal, registration, and payment features. By using our site or registering a player, you agree to these Terms.
Who may use the site
Accounts and registrations must be created by an adult (18 or older). A parent or legal guardian registers each player and is responsible for the information provided and for the player’s participation.
Accounts and portal security
You are responsible for keeping your Player Portal login confidential and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Registration and participation
Submitting a registration or tryout form is a request to participate; it does not guarantee a roster spot. Team placement is at the organization’s discretion. Players and families agree to follow our code of conduct and the rules of the program, leagues, and facilities we use.
Assumption of risk and waivers
Baseball and athletic activities carry inherent risks of injury. Participation is subject to the waivers, releases, and consents presented during registration, which you should read carefully. Nothing in these Terms limits the effect of those signed waivers.
Fees, payments, and refunds
Fees are due as stated at registration or as billed to your Player Portal, and are processed securely through Stripe. Except as required by law or as stated in our refund policy, fees are [refundable/non-refundable per the program’s posted refund policy — INSERT REFUND TERMS]. You agree not to initiate improper chargebacks; please contact us first to resolve any billing issue.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site — including attempting to access other families’ information, disrupting the service, uploading harmful code, or using the site for any unlawful purpose.
Photos and media
We may photograph or record team activities for program and promotional use, subject to the media-consent option you select during registration. You may adjust or withdraw media consent by contacting us.
Intellectual property
The TBT Florida name, logo, and site content are owned by the organization or its licensors and may not be copied or used without permission, except as needed to use the site for its intended purpose.
Disclaimers
The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee the site will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TBT Florida and its staff and volunteers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. This does not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TBT Florida from claims arising out of your violation of these Terms or misuse of the site.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in [County], Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
